The current 7th generation Volkswagen Golf was unveiled in 2012. This generation of Golf will get a mid-life update come March. News has it that the 8th generation Golf will debut end of 2017. These are my impressions of how the 8th generation Golf might look.
A disappointing attempt in rendering the next generation Volkswagen Golf based on the Italdesign Giugiaro Clipper concept.
Since there’s a Passat Alltrack, will there be one of the Golf Variant?
This Golf R was rendered with reference to the GTI and Volkswagen Design Vision GTI Concept. It looks a bit more aggressive than the GTI, with deeper front and side skirts along with wider tracks front and back, house tightly in extended fenders and rear wheel arches.
Unlike the earlier rendered set of Golf Cabriolet, this one has a longer wheelhase and extended rear overhang. Think of it as an Opel/Vauxhall Cascada rival, of a cloth roof replacement for the Volkswagen Eos.
This is how you do delivery in style. My other compact van renderings can be seen here.

Rendered these with reference to spyshots first seen at Gmotors.co.uk.
Wanted to see how a booted Golf will look. Personally I quite like it, more so than the Jetta. And not to confuse this with the Jetta, I’m bringing back the Bora name.
