Remember the Aeroback variants of Proton Saga (1st generation) and Wira? Well, I suggests bringing back that name plate for a hatchback-cum-wagon variant of the new Proton Saga. It’s unlikely such design will appeal to Malaysian market though.
This set of renderings caused quite a commotion a month ago when they were first published in Paultan.org. I rendered these from the Iriz hatchback, as a replacement for the popular Saga as Proton’s all-new B-segment sedan contender.
Proton is holding a design competition, but I can’t participate due to my age. I wanted to render the next Proton Saga. Here I base the Saga on Dacia, adding on design features seen on the first generation Saga; black bar beneath head lights, clam shell bonnet and doors that covers up to the roof […]
Volkswagen labor representatives would not back any further acquisitions by the carmaker, especially of Malaysian firm Proton, VW’s works council chief told a German newspaper. “We already have 12 brands and we first have to stabilize the group,” Bernd Osterloh told the Handelsblatt in an interview published on Monday. Read more here. I’ve prepared renderings […]
So I read from Paul Tan’s blog that Volkswagen AG has identified the possibility of remodelling the Polo (sedan) as a Proton. I’m not sure if this is a good news for Proton, or a bad one for Volkswagen AG. As for the renderings, I referred to spy shots of the P3-21 seen running about […]
Was going to call this Proton Saga Noback Aeroback. Anyway the reason in this rendering is because I imagine Proton needs a temporary car, since the Savvy was discontinued in 2010, and the Emas will not be launched till 2013. Unlike the Savvy that has a 2395mm wheelbase, this hatch shares most of it parts […]
Another go in recreating a new Arena/Jumbuck. Do also check out my two previous attempts from 2009 here. Came across something interesting from Wikipedia. In its page about the Arena/Jumbuck, they stated the successor will essentially be a rebadged 4th generation (and current) Mitsubishi Triton. More interestingly, the spin-off version called Jumbuck Sport, which is […]
This is not my first time rendering a carbiolet Proton. You can check out my previous Gen2 Cabriolet. You should also check out my other Malaysian open-top, MyVi Cabriolet.
Just a facelift for the Saga Estate rendered back in April 2009.
These renderings of the facelifted Proton Saga first appeared in Paul Tan’s blog on 29 October. The renderings were created based on previous sightings of the car (once in a parking lot and another time on the move). And soon after that there were newer spy shots that showed more of the camoe-free front rear […]
