Wanted to see how a booted Golf will look. Personally I quite like it, more so than the Jetta. And not to confuse this with the Jetta, I’m bringing back the Bora name.
I’m not satisfied with these renderings. It’s too similar to the Golf. I’m sure Volkswagen will come up with a more distinctive second generation Golf Plus.
Many would argue it’s not hard to guess how the 3-door Golf will look. But I added something a little different to the 3-door’s design. Can you tell where?
Really like the new Golf Cabriolet. If when Volkswagen eventually rolls out the GTI version, it should look pretty much like the above – GTI grille, bumper, side skirt, lowered ride height and black rubber strip replacing the chrome between the windows and doors.
I could have called this Golf MK7, but it’s my idea of what a 5-door Jetta for the North American market might look. And since the Golf was also known as Rabbit there, hence the name.
Besides rendering a 407 Coupe replacement, I decided the 508 needs a facelift, and a butt-lift too.
