These are my idea of how the Aveo might look when it’s available in Australia as a Holden. The front of both sedan and hatch gets the same grille that’s seen on Holden Captiva. While the sedan has a less aggressive looking headlights. I wonder if it’ll be called Holden Sonic.
When I rendered this wagon variant, I had in mind to make it look like the Sorento. And I find the Sorento’s hard lines suit the Magentis/Optima. Above two renderings first appeared on Paul Tan’s site on 20 April. While above and below renderings were later featured in Inside Line on 29 April. From most of the comments posted on both sites, these Magentis/Optima renderings seem quite popular and well received.
The 3-door Forte hatch not only looses two rear doors, but the front gets the Koup’s bumper too. And the side-rear window’s shape has changed. At the back, the plate area has been moved to the bumper. And the rear wind-screen has been tidied up too.
P.S. I’ll be leaving to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow, till Sunday. Funny thing is, Halloween is also my Mother’s birthday. By the way it’s my friend, Paul Tan’s birthday today. So Happy Birthday Paul!
