When asked by the folks over at Jalopnik if there was a possibility of an IS Coupe version in the future, Mark Templin, general manager of Toyota’s Lexus division gave the following answer: “Obviously, we’re making no announcements today, but it’s certainly something we should study carefully.” Source: Carscoop
Nothing to shout about this, the front obviously uses the Lexus IS grille. The headlights are part Corolla and part IS. I rendered the slimmer rear lights to resemble the IS too, and added two exhaust for that extra bit of sportiness.
Lexus will be developing a compact car to compete with the Audi A3 and the BMW 1-Series, but it won’t hit the US markets where Lexus was born, instead the new vehicle will compete in the European market and help Lexus with its CO2 emissions targets.
