BMW X6 Cabriolet

A lazy simple rendering for the weekend. Since BMW builds some awkward SUVs, why not add an X6 Cabriolet to its range. Unlike the failed Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet, this might work as somehow people would buy anything with a BMW badge on.

Looks pretty nice, but I think a basket handle (thick golf mk1 cabrio) roll bar would make it look even better

d*_*b Just amazing, it looks very good, but I agree with ozzydante, it may looks better with a basket handle (but this version is very nice, I want the same one)

Murano CC is an ill-fated car even breakthrough in design:(

Interesting concept… Thank you, TC.

Range Rover also thought about this idea with the Evoque convertible.

If BMW decides to move in this direction, I would rather see this on the new X4 !

So, am I the only one here that Thinks the Murano CC is actually a cool car?

I think it’s cool. Just the market isn’t ready for one I guess.

@Gabriel: It might’ve sold better as an Infiniti. $42k US for an unproven concept with a mass-market brand is a tough sell to the typical status-seeking luxe convertible buyer. Granted, people pay that much for a 370Z roadster, but the Z has 45 years of history behind it and more car-guy appeal.
