Mazda MX-5 Miata

11 May
2014

This was my entry for a photoshop contest organised by drive.com.au at the end of April. Submission of this 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata was received by the site’s editor, however the image was not entered for the competition. I have no idea what happened. Maybe because I don’t reside in Australia.

As always, everything seems awesome, nice way to picture it… I hope that it will be something like this… The only detail I might change is the windscreen, it should be more in line with the craziness of the concept applied in the bodywork, a little more integrated with it.

Awesome, though i see quite a bit of Z4 in it. Especially the side profile towards the rear section.

Love the car Theo but I think the wheelbase is too long. It looks like you need to chop it about a foot. There’s too much metal ahead of, and behind the door cut lines. Shorten it up and I think you’ll have it nailed.

And then maybe, finally, some automobile company will offer you a boatload of money to come work for them. You’ve earned it.

I love the way the lines flow over the fenders and down the sides. They meet at the grille in front quite well too. Exceptional job of updating their classic design to the current nomenclature.

I like your ideas about the Transformation of Cars. You are Great. What i’m missing is a Mazda mx 5 Targa Coupé. Is this an idea? A Big Fan of theophilusmchin
