This is my impression of a pickup named Kembara based on the Perodua Nautica (also known as Toyota Rush/BeGo and Daihatsu Terios).

This Terios based pickup looks absolutely brilliant, please show this to Daihatsu / Toyota, ask them to build it and sell them, especially in England!
There must be a market for a vehicle like this, eg. a smaller than one tonne, 4 x 4 pick-up.
We have a new Terios and, apart from fuel economy, it is a fantastic and well made vehicle, and easy to drive and park plus dealers are very, very good and helpful, but I understand that they will not be bringing any more Daihatsu`s to England, I hope this is not true,
Thank You,
Dave.

LOL I doubt the pickup will happen. By the way are you saying Daihatsu brand will pull out of UK? No! Please don’t. I thought Daihatsu is doing rather well in UK. In fact it was the first Japanese brand to enter UK Market back in the 50s or 60s if I’m not wrong.

I understand that the money exchange rate is making Daihatsu`s too dear over here in the UK and you can`t get a new one now according to the dealers.
I hope this soon alters,
Dave.

LOve that pickup!!!
Yes, Daihatsu have GONE from UK now-such a shame.
I own the new Terios and I offroad it a lot- great fun and amazingly capable too
