Tesla Model C

11 Jun

There are numerous reports that Tesla to launch Nissan Leaf rival within four years. Here are my impressions before reading recently that the compact Tesla might be a sedan instead.

Congratulations! It is amazingly beautiful!

It doesn’t look bad, but it would be a shame if Tesla used the Audi-strategy and made every car have the same front and rear, like most of your Tesla renderings. They all look great, but a little diversity wouldn’t hurt.

Looks similar to Alfa Giulietta. I love it!

Nice, a Tesla Wagon or Hatchback had not been wrong. 🙂

Love your Tesla!

The rear lights look a bit XFish. May be you give them a upward swing like a smile an match the rear window to the line/look auf the side windows inspired by the Volvo C30? Then the concept wouldn’t be so sleek and you got something to catch the eye.

What do you think?

This is interesting to say the least. Nice job, Theo, as usual !

This segment is succesful in Europe where we also record a significant downsizing trend.

A Tesla Model C would be very competitive, even with a front similar to the Model S.

Very nice, where can I reserve it 😉

Did you preserve the wheelbase of the ModelS/X? or is this smaller (given the Batteryswap demo of yesterday)

I fully expect that when the Tesla Generation III vehicles arrive, something of this sort will be in the stable. I would rather hope it was only a three door hatchback, but people really like having the rear doors. Once again, good work!

Aaah, with Elon’s elusive tweet about a Model D, I just had to come back to this one.

Really, if the Model 3 does not look as good as your rendering, I’ll be severely disappointed.

If only Tesla made something like this, as a pure commute/city car, and thus with limited range, I’d get one yesterday. I changed jobs and have a silly 15km commute, one-way, these days. This would so match my needs as a daily commute car.

This is perfect ! If it looks like that, I will be very happy.

You should revisit this/update it since we now know what the model 3 looks like. Render above is beautiful. Keep up the good work!

I’ve passed this URL on to others who were not aware of your earlier speculative work.

I know that Europeans like hatchbacks… These are not so popular in the US.

The Volkswagen Golf sells around 1,000,000 units worldwide each year… But only around 40,000 or less of those come to the US most of the time.
