Kia Rio To Be Launched in Malaysia in January 2013

Around a week ago, much excitement was generated when Kia fans in Malaysia spotted the partially-covered Kia Rio hatchback on a trailer in Glenmarie. And the official good news is that the 5-door Rio will be launched in Malaysia in January 2013.

The all-new Rio was unveiled in Genava Motor Show in 2011, and has since vowed many with its smart and sporty styling; something most subcompact hatchback nowadays lack.

This tidy-looking Rio has since won many allocates, including the prestigious red dot award: product design 2012.

wow, the spec is generous for both variants! my only gripe is 4 speed auto.. no 6 speed? be it auto or manual is better

Yikes! I thought it was bad that they don’t offer an optioned-up Rio with manual transmission, but none at all and only a 4-speed auto?
