Mercedes-Benz 190E Hatchback

23 Nov

Inspired by my BMW 3-Series (E30) hatchback renderings, here I imagine the hatchback variant of the Mecedes-Benz 190E (W201). Somehow reminds me of Alfa Romeo Arna, which is not a good thing.

Just hours after I’ve completed these renderings, I got to know that Schultz-Tuning did create a 3-door hatchback variant of the W201 in 1991. Check out the original scanned image below.

Great job- better than the BMW E-30 renderings. Happy that you’re rendering older cars. This reminds me of my mom’s car; always thought about how it would look with a hatch 🙂

It looks great! I prefer the rear lights from the Schultz-Tuning though.

Your profile is better looking than the Schultz one. Too bad they couldn’t figure out a way to either keep the back doors or extend the fronts.
