Was reading this article from Carscoop about an owner of the Yugo 55e crafted a BMW 3-Series E30 style grille and lights on the front end of the car. I quite like that. And so I render this, asking what if BMW build a hatchback variant of the 3-Series (E30) , instead of the Compact. Doesn’t these remind you of the Volkswagen Golf MK2 and Austin Maestro?

Thanks Tristam. The BMW 3-Series (E30) is my favourite of all 3-Series.

Man, I really like it, was very awsome. You could make a M version of this hatch E30, would be very sportive, and very crazy. (=

Too bad they didn’t make one!
But I think it would look more ’80s with a longer rear overhang and closer to a 45deg roofline – think Dodge Omni/Plymouth (Talbot, Simca) Horizon.
