Read in Autocar that the next Phaeton will share its platform with the next-generation Bentley Continental and Porsche Panamera. Does that mean Volkwagen will be making a full-size rear-wheel driven four-door coupe?
Yes. It all started from Audi. They told about their disbelief of A8 FWD platform. However, I didn’t noticed no official sayings about A8 RWD/AWD but I am clearly sure that this move would be for the best. 5 meter in lenght luxury sedan with front wheel drive platform architecture? Bitch, please.
Now about Your rendering. A very nice rendering, however it’s too similar with the ongoing Passat CC FL. Good Try man!
Yeah, they said they were working on a Phaeton. I agree though, this looks a bit too much like the Passat CC. I think the front end is good, but it needs to have some things to differ it from the CC.
