I remember reading somewhere that the hatchback variant of the Viaggio will be marketed as the new Bravo. And these were rendered with reference to the patent drawings of Dodge Dart hatchback.

I think this would look good as the new Bravo, but the Dart hatchback patent drawings don’t impress me, it looks too similar to the sedan. I was hoping Dodge made the 4dr hatchback different, perhaps with a Scirocco-like rear end (and then SRT it!). You think that might look better?

It is a subtle difference from the sedan.
I’m not sure about a more upright rear with the “peak” above the back window instead of between it and the taillights, if only because it would create a problem of what to do with the character line starting behind the front wheel and running to the decklid.

Thanks Yoda. I have my concern regarding the rear too. But anything is possible in the photoshop world.

This looks rather nice, actually, but if Fiat still intends to sell a made in China hatchback in Europe it can just as well shelve the plans, as nobody in Europe would buy a Chinese-made car. Let’s hope Marchionne comes to his senses.

Thanks Q. Major manufacturers are starting to build cars in China, for China itself. Some manufacturers have stringent quality control, i.e. the Germans. So, it’s only a matter of time these made in China cars are exported to other parts of the world, including West Europe

I like the idea of a hatchback version of the Viaggio. But, what about a stationwagon/estate version of the Viaggio ? And what about CUV/SUV version of the Viaggio ? I think both versions would look very good.

Great ideas George. I can try those.

Very nice, it looks very cool … I think that a 3 door model also will be beautiful, i think it will give him a sporty look.
