Subaru BRZ Cabriolet

I remember reading somewhere from Autoblog that Subaru is considering to build the cabriolet variant of the BRZ. So I did these.

Is the GT 86 based on the BRZ? :P Looks almost identicatake those rear lights from it ?. Whatever, still a great job, I especially like the way you could still make a place to put the roof and still make it look normal with 4 seats!

Thanks Abarth Lover. Toyota GT-86, Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S are all the same car with different badges and trims.

Wow, I knew about the Scion thing, but it is wierd that the BRZ is the same too. Oh yes, could you pleeeease make the Buggati Saloon I told you about? I would be the happiest human in the world.

Please, from looking at the rear of the vehicle you can tell that if this car were ever to be turned into a roadster, it would be shaped closer to the current 370z rear end which makes the shape seem less boring and more dynamic. Too much thought was put into this car to simply cut off the roofline, renderings should think the same. The idea is interesting though, it would suffer certain weight increases from the reinforced chassis.

I am disappoint.

I really like the idea of a convertible BRZ, but I think that Subaru would have to eliminate the rear seat. This could offset some of the weight of adding the convertible top.
If you were eliminating the rear seat, would that drastically affect the way you render the transition between the convertible top and the deck lid?
