Mitsubishi Mirage Sport

Sorry for not posting lately. This site experienced some unforseen technical problem mid-week and was only sorted two days later. Anyway these are my idea how to perk up the rather disappointing looking Mirage.

Do also check out my previous Colt Mirage rendering based on the Mitsubishi Concept Global Small, which I dare say looks more interesting than the actual Mirage.

rumour has it that Proton Global Small Car will be sharing/using a lot of component with this Mitsu, would you try to guess the Proton shape by chopping the EMAS with this Mirage? thanks lot

The car (body) is great, just the details (grill, lights) are a bit messed up.

I can only wonder what Mitsubishi was thinking with thr press photo you started from – silver, under flat studio lighting? Pie-crust hubcaps? Really? Even just the alloys and going to a red body are a huge help.

By going back to the Concept Global Small front bumper, you thinned the center bumper bar which is a good move but gave up the possibility of conventional fog lights. I’d consider enlarging the upper air intake instead; on a real car black vinyl tape would accomplish this well enough (if it’s a light body color).

I’m assuming markets outside Japan will get bigger engine options and a manual transmission alongside the 1.0/CVT already announced.

How about rendering a BMW i3 M version (the small electric thing)?
And a REAL Retro Jaguar E-type, not old-fashioned like the Eagle Speedster and the ‘Growler’, but also not without any retro elements like the c-x16. Something inbetween those two types of cars would be great!

Looks good , but with some Proton R3 body-work it would be more ‘sporty’ ……and with EMAS drive-train it would be PERFECT
