much better – the black strips look like a forced design element that didn’t translate well from the concept car, when the plug was supposed to go into an opening at the end of the black strip forward of the side mirror. They should have lost the black when the moved the plug behind a round opening lower on the body.
There is no many Opel and Vauxhall Ampera in the states, so I don’t know how different your rendition is from the original Ampera. Anyway, I love the design of this car. And wouldn’t hesitate to get it if it’s available.. The front design reminds me of the Honda Accord’s.

I’m not sure I like it as much now. Needs a bigger greenhouse to compensate or something.

It looks FAR better with the ugly black garbage gone, but too bad GM pulled the plug on the Ampera until 2015 or 2016

The current Ampera is priced at £28,995 in UK. According to Autocar, the second generation will go on sale in 2015.
