Citroan C5 Hatchback

16 Oct

It’s time for the return of a mid-size Citroen hatchback. These renderings reminds me of the Xantia my father owned in Malaysia. I like the Xantia a lot. It was a decent car, but my father sold the car after four years. Back then, Citroen was represented by DRB-HICOM. That company had terrible after-sales service and the mechanics were inexperience when servicing the Xantia, even though it was assembled in Malaysia. Worse of all, my father’s Xantia had its first (minor) crash when driven by careless staff at the service centre, during the car’s first 5000 km servicing routine.

I dare say Citroen isn’t doing too well in Malaysia now, still. As the brand is represented by another oblivious company. Anyway about these renderings, I feel the C5’s profile can easily adapt a liftback design much like the Xantia’s. Agree?

It’s a good news for you and a good thing for us . I hope you’re well . Here in France all is strange, the atmosfear in our country isn’t good and the French Automotorshow was average and a little boring. But the work is here …
Very friendly.

Well the back side of the car from the sideview looks very good and realistic. A very nice hatchback example. The only thing that i don’t like about the C5 at all is it’s base. Look at the position, where the front wheel is. The “nose” of the car looks very heavy and frankly it is very hard to make a sporty or dynamic drive when the base for such a car is very short.
