Lancia Thesis

The Chrysler 200C is a plug-in hybrid electric concept car unveiled in 2009 North American International Show. But with the recent announcement that Chrysler has disbanded its ENVI (a division of Chrysler Group LLC whose purpose is creating electric-drive vehicles and related advanced-propulsion technologies) program, what will happen to the beautiful 200C?

May I suggest new owner Fiat replaces the aging Lancia Thesis with the Chrysler 200C.

They are actually rather similar in size too. The Chrysler 200C’s dimensions:

Wheelbase 116.1 in (2,949 mm)
Length 192.1 in (4,879 mm)
Width 73.6 in (1,869 mm)
Height 57.3 in (1,455 mm)

The Lancia Thesis’s dimensions:

Wheelbase 110.2 in (2,800 mm)
Length 192.5 in (4,890 mm)
Width 72.0 in (1,830 mm)
Height 57.9 in (1,470 mm)

the Thesis is not only aging, but the production is already finished, as I remember in the spring of 2009 ;)

nice chop, but the coloring of the car is not realistic egough

This Thesis is too small compared to the actual model, i’d preferred the Lybra name because, a smaller sedan, but with an image of failure. Wy not Aurelia or Thema ?

Yes I agree a Thesis replacement should be bigger than the current Thesis, but as my dimension table shows the 200C and Thesis are rather similar in size.

About the name, I wanted name it the Dedra, since the original Dedra in the 90s was meant as a rival for the BMW 3-Series. And also, the 200C uses a shortened 300C platform, itself a former Mercedes E-Class platform.

Boy do I love the Thema, especially the one with a Ferrari engine. Wait or was it a Maserati engine?
